Everlynn Le

Everlynn is a senior attending Oakland High School and wants to pursue the pre-medical track to become a family physician. She became interested in working with Banteay Srei Oakland following her exposure to women’s issues from a multifaceted perspective, whether it was through experiencing cultural and social norms as a Vietnamese-American woman or witnessing other women around her subjected to sexual exploitation throughout her upbringing in Oakland. As a Bong Srei Intern, she hopes to find ways to use her knowledge and lived experiences to uplift and cultivate an empowering space with other Southeast Asian women. During 2023 and beyond, she’s looking forward to connecting with fellow sistas through fun youth workshops and events. Stay tuned for more!
