Lillian Man is a Bay Area native and a graduate of UC Berkeley. She currently works as a counselor at Women’s Options Center and volunteers for SF Suicide Prevention. She is proud of having learned to speak Cantonese from her Chinese immigrant parents, especially when she can use that to connect to monolingual Chinese women in their reproductive and mental health journeys. An indoors person, she enjoys reading self-help books, and historical romance novels. She hopes to grow as an advocate at Banteay Srei, and in her capacity as youth consultant, learn from young people what they need in their communities.
